Jason B. Liu, MD, MS
Associate Surgeon, Division of Surgical Oncology
Dr. Liu graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He also holds a Master of Science in health services and outcomes research from Northwestern University. He completed general surgery training at the University of Chicago Medicine and fellowships in surgical oncology and endocrine surgery from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
He is board certified in general surgery and is a member of various societies, including the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES), Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), and the Society of Asian Academic Surgeons (SAAS).
Dr. Liu’s clinical interests include the multidisciplinary management of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal diseases, with a focus on the application of molecular testing in thyroid cancer management. His research interests include the integration and implementation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) to improve the quality of surgical oncology care. At the Brigham, he will also be joining the Patient-Reported Outcomes, Value and Experience (PROVE) Center.
