Associate Surgeon, Division of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Brigham and Women’s Hospital

Dr. Bergmark is a graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, CA and was a John Gardner Public Service Fellow prior to receiving her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She completed residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in the Harvard Otolaryngology Residency Program followed by a fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School. At Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr. Bergmark was then the Gliklich Healthcare Innovation Scholar where she collaborated with Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Business School and the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement on standardized health outcomes measures.

Dr. Bergmark is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Her clinical interests include diseases of the sinuses and skull base, chronic rhinosinusitis, tumors of the sinuses, aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease, as well as general otolaryngology. In addition to research on chronic sinusitis and other sinonasal disorders, she studies disparities in healthcare outcomes and utilization of patient reported outcomes measures across diverse patient populations.

Associate Surgeon, Division of Thoracic Surgery, Brigham and Women’s Hospital

Dr. Rochefort is a graduate of the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, FL and received his medical degree from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine (UMMSM) in Miami, FL. He completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Los Angeles, CA, followed by a residency in Thoracic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.

Dr. Rochefort is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

His research and clinical interests include: Benign esophageal pathology including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and achalasia, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, minimally invasive surgery, thymoma and thymic carcinoma, robotic surgery, and medical and surgical education.
