Hassan Khalil, MD
Associate Surgeon, Division of Thoracic Surgery
Dr. Khalil graduated from the University of Houston and obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas, Houston. He completed a general surgery residency at UCLA and two fellowships at the Brigham, one in minimally invasive thoracic and foregut surgery and another in cardiothoracic surgery.
He is board certified in general surgery, and he is a member of various organizations, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Heart Association (AHA).
Dr. Khalil’s clinical interests include lung cancer, mesothelioma, esophageal disease and robotic surgery. His research will focus on mesothelium and application of biomaterials in thoracic surgery.
