William Boysen, MD
Associate Surgeon, Division of Urology
Dr. Boysen graduated from Amherst College and obtained his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed a urology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center and a fellowship in complex genitourinary reconstruction and cancer survivorship at Duke University Medical Center.
He is board eligible in urology and a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS).
Dr. Boysen’s clinical and research interests include all aspects of reconstructive urology: urethral reconstruction, genitourinary trauma, gender affirmation surgery and prosthetic urology. He is particularly interested in the care of cancer survivors and managing the long-term side effects of their life saving treatments.
